Follow along as Richard L. Collins demonstrates the Garmin G1000!

Flying the Garmin G1000 DVD has been recently updated and expanded. It now includes information on the fully integrated Garmin GFC 700 autopilot, and you’ll go flying in a new Columbia to see it in action.

This program also demonstrates the use of Garmin’s integrated Ready Pad system, which allows direct keyboard input of frequencies and text. Also new to this DVD is a section explaining the use of the active Traffic Advisory System (TAS) that is optional with the G1000, and how this technology differs from Traffic Information Service (TIS).

Another feature of this DVD is a new interactive chapter menu that allows direct navigation to specific G1000 subject areas. The program includes enhanced real-world video to more clearly demonstrate the G1000’s capabilities as you’ll use them — in the air.
