The Complete G1000 Course
The Complete G1000 Course will help you transition from steam-gauge "round dials" to the Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) glass cockpit environment. This interactive software allows you to practice becoming proficient in operating the G1000 from the safety and privacy of your home or office computer.
The intuitive software interface makes this as easy to use as reading a book. Computer learning tools in the form of cockpit representations and demonstrations of the tasks combine with a Part 141 and and FITS-compliant G1000 course, which is given by Skyline Aeronautics and in forums around the country. In this way the software teaches you how to safely and efficienty use the G1000 without running up the Hobbs!
You\'ll stay engaged throughout the course; you have the option of of reading and navigating through the program yourself, or listening to the narrator as he guides you through the course. The search function means you can navigate directly to a specific keyword or topic for a quick refresher. Using scenario-based training throughout, each lesson concludes with a summary and a quiz to ensure you understand the material. A student record tracks your progress and at the completion you will receive a framable Certificate of Completion as proof of your accomplishment.
Achieve an effective scan, obtain an orientation to the screens, knobs and buttons, understand how to properly operate the G1000 and interpret system malfunctions. Applicable to both VFR and IFR operations, and all aircraft installations of the G1000. The Complete G1000 Course will help you master the glass cockpit from your computer and incorporate these lessons into your everyday flying procedures.…

The Navigation CD-ROM
The Navigation CD-ROM™is an interactive program that teaches how to navigate with VOR, NDB, GPS, HSI, RMI, and Airspace!
The Navigation CD-ROM contains five easytouse, interactive, multimedia tutorials:
VOR Navigation
NDB Navigation
HSI & RMI Use
GPS Navigation
Airspace
The five interactive multimedia tutorials listed above contain:
10 hours of narrated instruction
37 instructional sections
250 original graphics and animations
12 quizzes
Section 1: VOR Navigation Tutorial
This tutorial has already taught thousands of pilots at FBO’s and major universities how to use this essential navigation aid. All pilots can benefit from this tutorial, as it takes the user through basic navigation concepts, aircraft equipment, and realworld application. Many features are includedquizzes, easy to read graphics, and interactive simulations of aircraft equipment.
Basic and advanced VOR theory
Handson instruction with VOR equipment
Onscreen equipment simulation
Using VOR
Intercepting and tracking radials
Finding position
VOR specifications
Situational awareness
Sound narration and animation
Quizzes
Section 2: NDB Navigation Tutorial
NDB navigation can be confusing and frustrating, but not if it is presented in a simple and straightforward manner. The NDB Navigation tutorial teaches the pilot basic concepts that simplify NDB’s and provides standardized procedures that make flying NDB’s easy. The tutorial covers the use of aircraft equipment, homing, tracking, and interception of NDB bearings, and much more. You\'ll use simulations of actual aircraft equipment as reallife scenarios are presented.

Traffic Awareness - TAS/TCAS I Computer-based Trainer
Computer-based Traffic Advisory System Trainer
The CD-ROM based training program from ElectronicFlight Solutions details the operation of a Traffic Advisory System (TCAS I/TAS). The overall operation and intruder priority levels are explained before progressing into the specifics of the Bendix/King KTA 870, KMH 880, Goodrich SkyWatch™ and SkyWatch™ HP systems.
The self-guided computer-based training then highlights the operation of the TCAS I/TAS systems on the Avidyne FlightMax, Honeywell KMD-550/850 and Garmin display systems. The history and development of TCAS systems and their transition into the general aviation systems of today are explained. The ElectronicFlight program details intruder symbology, audio alert priorities, limitations of antenna shading, differences between the various TCAS systems, operation modes, alert inhibits, intruder tracking methodology and sensitivity levels.
After successful completion of this training module, the operation and familiarity of the traffic awareness systems should become second nature when it counts the most—under high-workload situations. At the very core of the self-paced CBT (computer-based training) program is the ElectronicFlight Complete Learning™ Methodology that focuses on the following basic elements:
Instill conceptual knowledge, instead of rote memorization
Implant mental models (a picture imprinted into permanent memory)
Present the conceptual organization of a system
Provide requisite knowledge using highly graphical methods
Reinforce knowledge with targeted practice exercises
Implement feedback and remedial review when checked for retention
